Build Your Wellness Playground

Instinctual Wellness Through Living Space Design

  • Adaptive Architecture: Our spaces feature walls designed for climbing, exposed beams for swinging, and creative obstacles in doorways. These aren't just aesthetic choices; they're invitations to move, explore, and engage your body.

  • Dynamic Floorscapes: Our spaces incorporate playful elements like ramps, slides, cargo nets, trampolines, cobblestone, sand, and even fireman's poles that transform rooms into opportunities to turn mundane movements into mini-adventures.

  • Natural Movement: Our goal is to promote full range of motion through every plane. This continuous, varied movement helps build a foundation for years to come. It's about making fitness an inherent part of your environment.

Our Designs Foster a Deep Connection with Nature

  • Biophilic Harmony: Lush live plants, soothing water features, abundant natural light, and optimized fresh air circulation create a vibrant, tranquil atmosphere. This biophilic design reduces stress, improves mood, and enhances overall mental clarity.

  • Sensory Engagement: From the natural experience of swinging in a cotton hammock, to the gentle sound of flowing water, the refreshing scent of fresh air, and the captivating play of natural light, your space becomes a rich tapestry of sensory delight.

  • Clutter-Free Clarity: We emphasize open, uncluttered spaces that promote mental spaciousness and ease of movement. This minimalist approach allows the unique architectural features and natural elements to truly shine, contributing to calmness.

  • Recovery & Relaxation Zones: We also integrate dedicated areas for rest and rejuvenation. Serene nooks for meditation and comfortable spaces for stretching form a low stress environment which is a cornerstone of our design philosophy.

Every Playful Discovery is a Mental & Physical Adventure

  • Creative Surprises: Discover a hidden room behind a climbing wall, or an unexpected pathway leading to a cozy retreat. These creative surprises are woven into the fabric of design to spark curiosity, encourage exploration and to bring on smiles.

  • Personalized Adventure: While the core principles are consistent, each "Active Living Sanctuary" is tailored to the individual, ensuring the elements of surprise and active engagement resonate deeply with your preferences and lifestyle.

  • An Experience: We craft a living environment that is dynamic, engaging, and genuinely fun. It's about transforming your perception of "home" into a place of continuous growth, well-being, and delightful discovery.

Play Stations Create Fun Brain and Body Benefits

  • Planes of Motion: We all move front and back (sagittal), side to side (frontal) and rotational (transverse). If a human is not, there is a likeliness of losing that ability over years which results in diminished quality of life and a high potential for injury.

  • Sports Skills: Even if you dislike organized sports, take the skills from them and turn them into games. Like the futuristic photo above where you can throw, strike, hit, even kick objects (like balls) into that safe space.

  • Physical Therapy: Rather than counting 20 repetitions in a clinical setting, reimagine those exercises into sports skills that mimic lifesaving therapy. Start slow and controlled and work your way further and faster.

Gemini Bedroom

Prioritizing Daily Recovery Time in the Bedroom

  • Absent: Electronics (TV, computer, even AC units should be far away from the bed) are not in the bedroom to minimize screen time and their electromagnetic fields (EMF) that interrupt our own human current (biofield).

  • Multiple Arrangements: The foundation is a breathable mattress or pad on the floor with lots of natural cotton pillows to help posture. Being on the floor encourages more range of motion to get up and down. A second area for sleep would be a natural cotton hammock. Climbing into and out of it takes strength, flexibility and balance as the swaying motion mimics nature. The hammock can also double for range of motion (ROM) exercises in the morning. Very high end beds are available that adjust height, firmness and angles which all help maximize health.

  • Circadian Rhythm: We want 6-8 full hours of darkness while we sleep to maintain a natural cycle. Blackout blinds or natural cotton curtains assist in this matter. Natural and calming art on the walls promote relaxation as well as motivation.

  • Storage: Some ADD brains prefer the ability to see everything like in a closet setting or open shelving. Whether you prefer this method or closed dressers, opt for the lower type that can double as a platform that can hold your weight for climbing.

  • Breathwork: Knowing how long we sleep (indoors), air quality is of utmost importance. If your HVAC system does not have top of the line filtration, consider a portable air filtration system for the bedroom.
