Autobiogravlog: How to Get Hired
As I hope YOU are doing, I’m learning new hobbies during this economic down time.
The first, an autobiography vlog time capsule for my future self to be opened when I’m 70.
I just completed my first one on YouTube. It’s all about careers.
Why though?
Think about the best day of your life.... (take a moment) Now think about the day before your last birthday. Why is it easier to remember the first moment? Emotion plays a large role, but also the amount of times you have recalled that moment. The more you think about a memory, the stronger it becomes. That is the purpose behind this video. In 30 years I will look back and see what memories I recall and what sounds ridiculously absurd. Simultaneously, looking back at all I have accomplished increases my self-esteem. Remember, learn from the past but do not dwell on it. It's how you react to events that defines you, not the actual event.
The time you spend thinking back is good for your memory (if you want to remember it).
Life is about balance. This new hobby takes up a fraction of my week.
